Several times a week, I get inbound from reporters thinking of story
ideas. They're looking for companies doing cool stuff and are always
looking for someone under the radar or a new angle.
At the same time, startups need press.
So last year, I put the two of them together--and ran a very successful event called "Media Meet Startups"
where we just put 50-100 companies in a room and threw about 50
reporters in the mix. This year, I'm reprising that with a new batch and a new location. We'll be at the Frying Pan on the Hudson River and 26th Street for Happy Hour!
